Huayi Chemical, owned privately, was founded in the year of 1989 and since then has been the leading producer for three major series of products: (1), the Series of Naphthol Products.3000MT/Y, to be used as the intermediates for high quality Pigments; (2), the Series of Fast Red Basis,1800MT/Y, to be used as Dyestuff and intermediates of high quality Pigments; (3), the Customer-Contracted intermediates,100MT/Y, for Pharmaceuticals, Electronic-Chemicals and Agri-Chemicals.

There are 290 employees in total, among which 30 technicians and engineers; the annual turnover in 2004 was USD35,000,000, and 80% of which were exported.

We have well equipped laboratory, resourceful R & D center, multi-functioning pilot plants and two complex production bases with reaction capacity of 500,000 liters consisting of various reactors from 20 liters to 50,000liters, involving such chemical reactions as Nitration, Nitrosation, Chlorination, Reduction, Amidation, Acyl-Chlorination, Hydrolysis, Acetyl-acetylization, Chloro-sulfonation, and Esterification etc. Providing regular and contracted products from kilogram basis to container basis.

All of our production plants have been certified by ISO-9002 and ISO-14001, the quality of our products and excellent service have been admired by all our customers internationally and domestically.
